It's taken a little while but photos of the 2014 awards presentation held at Rhondda Bowl are now available to view. Please visit the Photo Gallery and look under the 2014 Folder.....

The U16's started 2015 with a good away league win at Newbridge Raiders, but we then lost back to back U16 league matches against Cardiff Met Archers, which is in effect a Cardiff U16 area team. I am pleased with the teams progress at U16, particularly our defensive effort, but a bit dissappointed that we didn't take one of the results against Cardiff Met, because we are good enough to beat them. We finished the month with a good away win in a friendly against an RCT Gladiators U17 team. Scores and reports on Fixtures and Results page.

We have also had two friendlies at home vs RCT Gladiators at U10 and U12, and ran out comfortable wins in both ages. Scores and reports on Fixtures and Results page.

No matches yet in 2015 in the U14 age group, but there are some scheduled for February.

The club has held its last training session of 2014, and I hope everyone now has a great Christmas and New Year.

The Under 14 and Under 16 team will train on Friday 2nd January from 8-10pm, ready for an U16 League game at Newbridge Raiders on Sunday 4th January at 10:00 am. 

The the next full "Club" night is on Monday 5th January 2015, normal time.

Tigers U10 hosted Pontypridd Panthers (1 and 2), UWIC Met Archers and RCT Gladiators. We were missing Carys Foale (illness) and Tom Rees (injured at last weeks U12 tournament), but we welcomed back Jake Elliot to join Sam Griffiths and Louis Burnell. The other teams agreed to play matches against us on a 3 v 3 basis and we finished joint wimnners with Ponty Panthers 1. Well done all 3 players and big thanks to parents Faye and Sally who did the scoring and time keeping and U16 players Rhys and Calvin who refereed. 

In their second U10 tournament Tigers four players Sam, Tom, Loius and Carys, all played really well again winning 3 of their 4 matches....and only losing to the tournament winners Pontypridd Panthers in their last game. Tigers U14 hosted a traingular tournament against Pontypridd Panthers and RCT Gladiators on 26/10/14 at Tonyrefail LC.

Tigers had no U14 players available so played with all U12's....we also only had 5 players...so no subs, and we lost both games. Howebver the 5 x U12's played really well and the Club can be proud of them for never giving up against older and bigger opposition.

Thanks to Keri Bunyan of Panthers for stepping in and organising our table officials and also thanks to Calvin Robins, Craig Hughes and Jordan Williams all from our U16 team who took the time to help with refereeing table officiating and coaching our U14's.
