Annual Presentation Night

TIGERS ANNUAL PRESENTATION NIGHT WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 9TH JULY AT THE RHONDDA BOWL AT 6PM.

 

COST WILL BE £10 PER TICKET AND NIGHT WILL BEGIN WITH GAME OF TEN PIN BOWLING, FOLLOWED BY FOOD AND THEN PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES TO ALL AGE GROUPS.

Fund Raiser at Tesco 26/04/14

The total raised on the bag packing event at Tesco on 26/04/14 was:-

£647.25

Well done to everyone and a big thank you to Mandy and Geraint for organising it.

The winner of the closest guess was:-

Louis Burnell who guessed £589. A new basketball to Louis at training tomorrow night.

Craig Hughes injury

Craig has chipped a bone in his ankle during Welsh squad training and will be in plaster for up to 6 weeks.

Everyone at the Tigers wishes you a speedy recovery Craig. 


SWBA Cup Finals Saturday 03/05/14

The SWBA Cup Finals are scheduled for Saturday 03/05/14 at Glamorgan Sport Park, Treforest. Tigers have conceded our U16 semi final vs Cougars and our U12 semi final vs Swansea Storm but are still in the hunt with Semi Finals to come at U14 at home to Cougars (29th April) and also are still in at U10......match yet to be arranged.

Well done Craig and James

Congratulations to Tigers Craig Hughes and James Large for being selected to represent Wales in a tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland last weekend. Unfortunately James had to drop out of the trip after breaking his leg, and so Craig was our clubs sole representative on the trip. I have seen reports of the three matches of which Wales won one and lost two and Craig did the club proud.

James has broken his leg playing rugby and will be out of action for the next six weeks. Obviously it's a big blow for James as he missed out on the opportunity to play for Wales U15's in Ireland last weekend and we are also going to miss him in action for Tigers U14 and U16 teams.
