Our U10's went to UWIC to compete against RCT Gladiators Pontypridd Panthers A and B, and Cradiff Met Archers. We had only 4 players, Sam Griffiths, Tom Rees, Louis Burnell and Carys Foale, but we won 3 of our 4 games to finish second overallin this first tournament. 

Great work kids, and thanks to the parents who were able to bring the you today.

Please make a note in your diaries for all dates that may affect you.

A FLYER HAS BEEN RECEIVED ABOUT WELSH TRIAL DATES AND IT HAS BEEN SAVED IN THE DOWNLOADS SECTION. 

If any player is unable to attend on the specified date for their age group, then please advise the person named on the flyer, and another date will be given to trial for the team.

Each player will need to bring suitable training kit and footware and plenty to drink and food to eat at the lunch break.
There will be a £5 charge per player to help cover the costs.

Registration will start from 9.45am

All players need to be on court ready at 10.30am. 

Tonyrefail Tigers met Pontypridd Panthers in a repeat of last years U10 Cup Final. Both teams played really good basketball, and there was little to choose between them. In the end though Tigers tougher defence won the game with a final score of 26-20, and Tigers retained the SW Cup. TIGERS ANNUAL PRESENTATION NIGHT WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 9TH JULY AT THE RHONDDA BOWL AT 6PM.

COST WILL BE £10 PER TICKET AND NIGHT WILL BEGIN WITH GAME OF TEN PIN BOWLING, FOLLOWED BY FOOD AND THEN PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES TO ALL AGE GROUPS.

Craig has chipped a bone in his ankle during Welsh squad training and will be in plaster for up to 6 weeks.
