| Game Notes | Was always going to be tough against the top of the league team, but we had a good first qtr where we played really strongly on defence and trailed just 20-16 going into the second qtr. However by half time Archers led 39-27 as their deeper and bigger bench were able to apply pressure and cause us to turn over the ball. Unfortunately the third qtr was one way traffic as Archers outscored us 28-8, but we did manage to rally in the fourth qtr and tightened up on Defence again to hold Archers 16-16. Very proud of the 6 players who turned up today as they worked hard for each other and kept the game competitive. Well done lads. Congratulations to Harri Welsh for getting MVP for Tigers. |
